The DMS DRP / MRP Module is a multi-level Materials Planning and Distribution Planning programme providing a company with the capability to determine their material requirements at the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) level.

The key components are:

Multi-level BOM (Bill Of Material)

with effectivity dates.
MRP (Material Requirements Planning)

With Lot for Lot, Min, Multiple & Max, Periods of Supply, safety Stock, Safety Time and Exception reporting on variances to the material plan at the PAB (Projected Available Balance), Planned Order and Scheduled receipts (e.g. Outstanding Purchase Order or Production Order) Level.
Time Phase Reporting to show material requirements (Shortages)

Based on forecasts and customer orders for each stage of manaufacturing and purchasing.

Anaylsis showing the links to forecasts and customer orders.
Importing and Exporting

Of data to and from external software packages using the import / Export Module. A typical example is the Importing of forecast data for a product or range of products from an external forecasting software package like forcus forecasting.
Forecast & Sales Reporting

Linked to the Forecast and Sales Reporting module which provides the MRP/DRP Module with detailed forecasts at the product level, at the product / customer level and at the customer level for all products.
